I’m newer to fishing and have tried lots of flouro during my tuna and rockfish trips. Opsin has been my favorite line to run by far! It ties strong knots, stays organized in your tackle box, and best of all it gets bit even when the tuna are line shy! Flylined 25 and 35 lb test line and ended with more fish on deck than anyone else.
Been using Opsin for a few years now and have been very satisfied. It is now my go to flourocarbon for all applications from 4 lb to over 100 lb. Great size to strength ratio. Holds knots well. Great customer service. Buy with confidence !
Used the 35lb and caught a few Halibut and a WSB on the same leader!
This line is supple, strong and high quality. My favorite feature, however, is the line management band that comes with it. A genius idea that keeps the line on the spool while making it easy to pull off what you need for leader. I would love to buy some of those just to have for some of my other spools.
