What sleeve should I use with Opsin 200 lb?
Treat 200 lb as a dedicated heavy-leader setup. Opsin 200 lb measures 1.44 mm. Diamond’s CH-18 and CT-180 guides place its 1.6 mm SG and G Silver Lock sleeves at 1.4–1.6 mm mono or fluorocarbon.
Use SG as the first bench test and G as the alternate. Match the sleeve to the specified cavity, compress evenly, and pull-test the finished system.

Diamond publishes the SG sleeve for 1.4–1.6 mm mono or fluorocarbon with its CH-18 and CT-180 guides. At 1.44 mm, it is a documented first test.
Diamond Silver Lock G · 1.6 mm
Diamond publishes the G sleeve across the same 1.4–1.6 mm range in its heavy-duty tool guides. Test it as a separate sleeve-and-cavity setup.
Deckhand note: The lighter 1.3 mm sleeve setup does not carry over to 1.44 mm. Confirm clean threading, use the matching heavy-duty cavity, and pull-test the exact leader, sleeve, tool, and pressure.
Should I choose 30 m or 110 m?
The 30 m coil is the clean choice for a trip bag or a handful of leaders. The 110 m crew coil drops the cost per metre and makes sense when you rig often, carry backups, or prep for a full season.
How should I store the coil?
Keep it clean, dry, and out of prolonged light and heat. Return the coil to the UV-blocking metallized bag between trips and avoid kinking it under hard tackle.
